Question 1

What is PodcastFlux?

Accepted Answer

PodcastFlux is a free AI Shorts maker and automatic AI clipping tool. Paste a podcast or YouTube link and the AI finds the best moments, cuts them into vertical Shorts, adds stylish animated captions, effects and a title, and hands you clips that are ready to post — no editing.

Question 2

Is PodcastFlux free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Finding and previewing clips is free, and new accounts get free credits, so you can make your first Shorts without paying. A Short costs 1 credit the first time you download it; downloading it again is free, and a failed render gives the credit back.

Question 3

Do I need to edit anything?

Accepted Answer

No. The AI picks the moments, trims them, crops the video to 9:16 around whoever is speaking, adds captions, effects and a title, and writes the description. If you want, you can nudge the start and end of a clip or pick another look — but you never have to open an editor.

Question 4

What is AI clipping, and is it automatic?

Accepted Answer

AI clipping means the AI cuts a long video into short clips for you. In PodcastFlux it is fully automatic: paste a podcast or YouTube link, and the AI reads the whole video, picks the best moments, crops each one to 9:16, adds captions and a title, and gives every clip a viral score.

Question 5

What makes the captions different?

Accepted Answer

They are designed, not just typed. There are 80+ caption looks — highlighter swipes, sticky notes, neon, glass, bold key-word boxes and more — each with its own animation. Key words are picked out automatically, spoken money, numbers, times and feelings animate as they are said, and every look is matched to a background it reads well on.

Question 6

How do I turn a YouTube video into Shorts?

Accepted Answer

Paste the YouTube link into the AI Shorts Maker. The AI watches the whole video, picks the moments most likely to go viral and gives each one a viral score. Preview them for free, then download one Short or all of them as a ZIP.

Question 7

Can I turn a podcast into Shorts?

Accepted Answer

Yes — PodcastFlux is built for podcast clips. Long episodes are fine: the AI goes through the whole podcast, finds the best moments, and tracks every face so the 9:16 frame follows whoever is talking.

Question 8

What effects can the AI Shorts maker add?

Accepted Answer

Zooms, card moves, word highlights and sound effects, picked by the AI to fit each clip. Keyword triggers animate what is said: money counts up with a stack of notes, numbers count, a time spins a clock, a year flips a calendar, a percent fills a ring, and feelings get an animated emoji. You can also turn on AI fact cards, AI stickers and, on the Creator plan, AI B-roll.

Question 9

Can I make many Shorts at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes. One link gives you up to 20 Shorts in one go, each with its own title, description and viral score, and you can download them all together as a ZIP.

Question 10

Which platforms are the Shorts for?

Accepted Answer

Every Short is a vertical 9:16 video, ready for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels.

Question 11

Can I make thumbnails, titles and timestamps too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PodcastFlux also has an AI thumbnail maker for HD 16:9 YouTube thumbnails, a title generator, and a chapter maker for YouTube timestamps — all from the same video link.
